RawSilk Photography was founded in 2005 by Stefan Lacandler and our weddings have since featured in The Daily Mail, The London Paper, Fabulous, You and Your Wedding & Brides Magazine. Our philosophy is to deliver stylish reportage and timeless wedding portraiture – documenting your day and capturing who you are, without resorting to tacky cliches. We believe in working with you; communicating and collaborating every step of the way to give you what you really want – an honest, exciting and unforgettable story of your wedding.
Who We Are
Stefan Lacandler - With a background in fashion and portraiture Stefan brings a fresh modern approach to a traditionally conservative medium. Originally from Sweden, he combines running a very demanding wedding photography business with documentary film and theatre stills, fashion and other commercial work for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
Peter Cleghorn – With a postgraduate degree in photojournalism from London College of Communication, Peter takes a candid, documentary approach towards wedding photography, without compromising on artistic flair.
